This department was established in 2004, the year when our country joined the European Union.
The Europe Collection established almost a decade ago has been very popular especially with high school and university students, but also with other patrons interested.
The more and more dynamically developing department has more than six hundred books in Hungarian and in foreign languages. The books are circulated for a week. It also has about ten sorts of periodicals which can be used on the spot or photocopied.
The collection makes known unto you the history, economy, culture, educational characteristics and institutions of the Union and gives you much other information about the present and future countries of it.
The Europe Collection can be found in the second floor. To use the materials on the spot, you need to have a visiting card. To borrow materials and to use the databases, you need to have a library card.
