Mai 1891 in Budapest einberufen wurde und dem Gedenken an sein ehemaliges Vorstandsmitglied gewidmet war.<\/em> Es wurde 1891 von der K\u00f6niglich Ungarischen Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Naturwissenschaften ver\u00f6ffentlicht.<\/p><div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-99c7b23\" data-block-id=\"99c7b23\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\"><strong>Biografie von J. Er studierte in Losonc, Bansk\u00e1 Bystrica und Selmec. Schon w\u00e4hrend seiner Schulzeit sammelte er Vogeleier, Mineralien und studierte Botanik.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-cf532d8\" data-block-id=\"cf532d8\"><style>.stk-cf532d8 {max-width:1000px !important;min-width:auto !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">1826 wurde er zum evangelischen Pastor in Zincota gew\u00e4hlt. Er nahm die Einladung vor allem deshalb an, weil es ihm erm\u00f6glichte, die Naturgeschichte und die Buchsch\u00e4tze des Nationalmuseums zu nutzen. W\u00e4hrend seiner sechs Jahre hier studierte und beschrieb er alle V\u00f6gel und Erinnerungen an die Zincota-Region.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-bc1f5ed\" data-block-id=\"bc1f5ed\"><style>.stk-bc1f5ed {max-width:1000px !important;min-width:auto !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Reisen in verschiedene Teile des Landes zur Vogelbeobachtung. 1824 besuchte er die Donau. Er entdeckte und beschrieb mehrere Vogelarten. Es gab auch Berichte \u00fcber Fischforschung: Es identifizierte 49 Arten, 3 Unterarten und benannte den Pet\u00e9nyi marn nach ihm. 1847 begann die wissenschaftliche Untersuchung von Wirbeltierresten in Ungarn mit den Ausgrabungen in den Karstspalten des Sz?l?-H\u00fcgels in Beremend.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-cce2025\" data-block-id=\"cce2025\"><style>.stk-cce2025 {max-width:1000px !important;min-width:auto !important;margin-bottom:0px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Er beschrieb Ungarns Vogelwelt, bereitete ein Handbuch der ungarischen Wirbeltierfauna vor, stellte einen Katalog der \u00dcberreste ungarischer Fossilien und eine Liste ungarischer H\u00f6hlen zusammen. Leider ist die Arbeit des letzteren verloren gegangen, obwohl dies wahrscheinlich das erste ungarische H\u00f6hlenkataster ist.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-65d0b80\" data-block-id=\"65d0b80\"><style>.stk-65d0b80 {max-width:1000px !important;min-width:auto !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">1846 wurde er zum Mitglied der Ungarischen Akademie der Wissenschaften gew\u00e4hlt. Er fing an, seine Notizen zusammenzufassen und zu ver\u00f6ffentlichen. Aber seine Manuskripte, die w\u00e4hrend der Bach-\u00c4ra auf Ungarisch geschrieben wurden, erschienen nicht in gedruckter Form. Seine handschriftlichen Notizen verschwanden nach seinem Tod.
