In 2026, the II. Ferenc Rákóczi Library will rejoin the Cultural Heritage Days and will lead the building in the former Doleschall mansion on 19 September.
The II. The two member libraries of Ferenc Rákóczi Library, the József Lévay Museum Library and the Szabó L?rinc Foreign Language Library, have been operating since 1994 in the monumental building at Mindszent tér 2. According to archival sources, in the 1700s there was already a one-storey, baroque-style residential building, which received a floor in the 19th century and was extended. The house is named after Gábor Doleschall (1813-1891), chief medical officer of the county, a prominent public figure of 19th century Miskolc. The two libraries are located on the ground floor and on the first floor of the former Doleschall mansion.
During the management of the building, interested parties can get acquainted with the collection and services of the museum and foreign language libraries located in the building.
Dates of building management: 11:00, 12:00, 13:00.
