Traditionally, Blunt Day is held in September of each year, close to the poet's birthday.
This year, Dr Rozália Kóczi, President of the B.-A.-Z. County Section of the Hungarian Literary History Society, will give a lecture commemorating Mihály Tompa's poems, works and life.
The event concludes with the wreathing of the Mihály Tompa statue in front of the library.
